This course includes an in-depth insight into advanced skin treatments using medical/pharmaceutical grade skincare. We cover all aspects of skin. You will complete online theory modules, which can be done in your own time, alongside the six-week training in order to be qualified. Full support available from a fully qualified lecturer.

Yes, you will be required to bring a model with you every session you are at the Academy. Some sessions require two models.
Models can be provided however, this does come with an additional cost, please speak to a member of the team when booking if this is something you require.
- Attend with a positive attitude and be willing to learn and complete tasks set.
- Ensure all the online modules have been completed before your course end date as we are unable to qualify you if not completed.
- Be respectful of each other in the learning environment

Yes, all our courses are accredited by ABT and GIA.
On successful completion of the course, you will be awarded with a certificate meaning you are a fully certified and insured Advanced Practitioner ready to start working in the industry.
Theory
You will be required to complete online theory modules on professional standards, health and safety, skin types/conditions anatomy and physiology.
Approximately 14 hours.
These can be completed in your own time and will be accessed through our online portal. www.beautyeducator.co.uk Please note if not completed you will NOT receive your certificate.
Practical
During your practical training, you will be required to complete 2 full treatments on live models each session. On your final day you will be required to complete a timed assessment.
The support doesn’t just stop once you finish your training, as we offer refresher days to all students who would like to come back and go over anything they are struggling with. These are held once a month and inclusive of the course fees.

The 5-day Intense Advance Skin Course are full days and consists of completing a larger number of live models providing you with more experience and to broaden your portfolio. You will also benefit from a designated social media and business development day to introduce you to the various marketing methods to help boost your new careers.

The 6 week advanced skin course has been amazing! Sophie is really lovely and a brilliant trainer, so knowledgeable and really supportive. The theory is really well set out and full of helpful tips and advice.
Each week we have practiced treatments on either 1 or 2 models, under Sophie’s guidance and on the final 2 week’s been able to combine the treatments together in order to increase profitability.
